Learn & Get Inspired
For decades, the world has felt the impact that Black Women contribute to the daily economy and communities. She Owns It She Biz, a Hybrid Conference for women, returns for year three, celebrating Women who want to win. The day is set aside to give those who have built an empire, want to start a business, lead their community, or just be better for themselves and their families and friends. The day will spark intriguing conversations while sharing knowledge to help Black Women as they stay on the path to success.

This year, the conference is honored to announce Moor's Brewing Company as its first sponsor, aligning seamlessly with its core values. As a pioneering Black-owned brewery led by three visionary men, Moor's Brewing Company is celebrating the remarkable legacy of Patsy Young, a formerly enslaved Black woman who forged her freedom in the North through her mastery of brewing beer. Patsy's story is one of resilience and skill; not only did her brewing expertise, along with her talents in cooking, weaving, and sewing, sustain her as a free woman for nearly fifteen years, but it also challenged the historical narrative around early American beer production. Traditionally associated with the founding fathers, the actual craft of brewing was, in fact, significantly shaped by the hands of enslaved individuals and laborers."Patsy Young and Black women have been instrumental in the creation of beer.

There is a saying: Experience is a good teacher. What if you could learn the possible outcome before you had the experience? The She's Wisdom panel aims to do just that! Our Superior Sisters will share how they have seen the world change for Black women but, most of all, how they have been and still are a part of the revolution.
Aiming to provide valuable insight into how they continue to open doors for the next generation and contribute to the culture regardless of age. Sit before those who have been where many of us want to go. This will be a conversation between legendary ladies who are also real friends, respected colleagues, and Black women who have supported one another throughout the decades.
